College International Interns Accept Jobs in Saudi Arabia
The College of Arts & Letters would like to congratulate two student interns who have recently accepted jobs: Abdullah Alkhelaif and Abdulrahman Ibrahim.
Alkhelaif accepted a job working as a social media specialist and documents control in the private sector in December 2016. He is working in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Ibrahim started working for Al-Othman Holding Company as a human resources coordinator in May 2017. He is working in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He coordinates employee affairs like leave applications, business trips, salary certificates and more.
“I like my work and its friendly environment,” Ibrahim said. “I am practicing a lot of what I studied at ISU with my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and human resources emphasis.”
Both Alkhelaif and Ibrahim worked in the College as international liaisons, helping international students communicate and alleviate problems that may have arisen with faculty and staff members.
Both Alkhelaif and Ibrahim graduated in 2016 with their Bachelor of Business Administration degrees. Alkhelaif in computer information systems and Ibrahim in management with an emphasis in human resources.
“The College appreciates everything Abdullah and Abdulrahman did for the College and University,” said Dean Kandi Turley-Ames. “They were essential in helping cultivate the relationships between the college and our international students. We are proud of them, and are excited to see where their educations will take them.”
