Dress for Success

In this class students will learn the difference between business & business casual dress. We discuss the importance of first impressions, inexpensive ways to dress for work. We discuss the importance of body language and why it matters to customers. At the end we have the students work in teams to draw the differences between what to wear and what not to wear and present to the rest of the class. 

Customer Service 101

Too often businesses forget about one of the most important ways to gain customer satisfaction. In this class we learn and practice fun, easy ways to WOW customers! This involves the basics of eye contact, using the customer's name & the importance of a good hand shake and exceeding customer expectations! We also touch on reading body language and verbal clues so we can apply a twist on the golden rule - "Treat customers NOT how you want to be treated but how THEY want to be treated."  

Marketing 101

In this class students learn the fundamentals (4 P's, Product, Price, Promotion & Place) of product marketing. We will review the difference between marketing and advertising. We have an activity where the students are broken into teams and develop a product and how they will price, promote and place it in the market. The student teams will present their product to the rest of the class.
