Lohse Biogeochemistry Lab Profile

2017, B.S. Biology, Lock Haven University, Lock Haven, PA

Biographical Sketch

I completed my B.S in Biology from Lock Haven in 2017 with a concentration in Environmental Science. My undergraduate work focused on determining water quality in the Marsh Creek Watershed via the Hilsenhoff Biotic Index. That back ground has translated into my Masters Project.

Current Research

There are still many questions being asked regarding the carbon cycle. My work here at Idaho State University focuses on bridging a few of those gaps. My goal is to find a relationship between POM and POC in the Reynolds Creek Experimental Watershed and determine how fluctuating hydrology may affect the flushing of POC from the RCEW CZO.
