Advisor: Charles Peterson & Ernest Keeley
Degree: MS Biology

2014, B.S. Biology, Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID

Biographical Sketch

Cody is a native of Pocatello Idaho. He became interested in biology through his love of fishing and spending time in Idaho and Alaska streams. Cody hopes to use his education to help protect streams and native fish populations so future generations can have the same or better experiences he had in the wilderness.

Current Research

Cody's research is mapping Yellowstone cutthroat trout habitat using remote sensing and GIS. This will allow for the usage of data that has already been collected to be used to predict fish habitat with data that is readily available on the internet and use spatial statistical modeling to help management and conservation of native fish populations in small and large scale areas.
