I grew up in the small southeastern Idaho town of Inkom. I graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 2005 and from there worked in various industries (agriculture, construction, etc....). I began my college career at Idaho State University some time later and graduated from there in 2016. I am now currently working on my Masters degree with my research focus on the inter-specific competitive interactions between brook trout and cutthroat trout. I work in the fish ecology lab and Ernest Keeley is my advisor.
