I began teaching at ISU for the Medical Technology (now Medical Laboratory Science) program in 1991. In addition to teaching courses for the Medical Laboratory Science program, I teach the Introductory Microbiology course for the Department of Biological Sciences.
With the advent of the expansion of the Medical Laboratory Science program to Boise, Idaho Falls, and rural Idaho areas, I have concentrated on adapting the Medical Laboratory Science curriculum to the distance learning and online formats. I mentor students in the areas of Clinical Laboratory Management and Clinical Laboratory Education and my research interests are in Clinical Laboratory Education.
