Frequently Asked Questions
How do challenges work?
Generous donors contribute to a pool of funds that will be used as prize money during this 32-hour period. Check out the “Challenges” tab at the top of the site to learn more details about specific challenge windows.
How do the matches work?
Passionate donors select projects they are excited about and provide a contribution that will match gifts dollar for dollar on Giving Day, up to the set amount.
What sponsorship opportunities are there?
Bengal Giving Day provides the opportunity to not only support the causes you care most about at Idaho State University but be visible on a day when the entire community will be paying attention! Further, by promoting your donations as a matching gift or challenge, your gift will inspire others to give.
Do I have to use the Giving Day site to make a gift?
You can give by whatever method you prefer, but only gifts made using the Giving Day website, isu.edu/bengalgivingday will be recorded in real time.
Can gifts be made to any fund?
Yes. Donors can always support any campus fund they choose, whether or not it is one of the projects competing for prizes. All gifts made on April 12 and April 13 to any fund will count toward Giving Day totals. However, only registered projects on the Giving Day page will be eligible for match and challenge funds.
