Find Academic Support

ISU is dedicated to helping students succeed. Connect with KEY academic resources.

Central Academic Advising (CAA)

Provides priority advising for freshmen, sophomores, transfer students, students on probation and pre-Social Work majors. CAA advisors also advise sophomore, junior, and senior students who are undecided about a major.

Take Action

New First Year college students will Start Strong in their first Fall term by attending Early Registration in April.

Be aware, students must formally declare a major to be assigned a Departmental and/or Faculty Advisor.

Advisors answer questions and explain the components of a degree including general education and major requirements. Meeting with an advisor each semester is the best way to make tracks and Finish in Four.

Accessibility Support

The Disability Services office at ISU provides reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.
