Design, modeling,and analysis of thermodynamic, thermal, and fluid systems.  Application towards Nuclear, Renewable Energy, Aerospace/Space, and Cryogenic Systems

• Hydraulic Shuttle Irradiation System (HSIS) Hardware Demonstration Facility for the Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Advanced Test Reactor (ATR)

• Calibration of a Particle Tracking Velocimeter (PTV) for the INL

• Steam/Water Two-Phase Flow Loop (TPFL) for Condensation Induced Water Hammer (CIWH) mitigation studies

• Chief Scientific Investigator on the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) Cooperative Research Project (CRP) on Natural Circulation Phenomena, Modeling, and Reliability of Passive Systems that Utilize Natural Circulation.  Serving as the coordinator of Phenomena 9: Liquid Temperature Stratification.
