Water Resources

I enjoy working with students outside of the formal classroom setting and involve students in my research whenever possible (meaning, when I can obtain funding to pay them!). Most of the students who worked in the watershed research program I directed at the Henry's Fork Foundation have gone on to establish successful careers in watershed- and fisheries-related fields. A few of these students are:

Kim Goodman, Idaho Director, Trout Unlimited Western Water Project
Lyn Benjamin, Executive Director, Friends of the Teton River
Matt Jaeger, Fisheries Biologist, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks
Alicia Austin Johnson, Restoration Specialist, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
