New for 2007-2008.
I am pleased to be working with a new graduate student this year. Jeremiah Ruesch is a second-year student
in the M.S. program in the department of mathematics. He will be studying hydrology in the Portneuf watershed
under a grant funded by the Inland Northwest Research Alliance. We are cooperating on this project with Dr. Amy
Marcarelli and Dr. Colden Baxter in the biological sciences department. I am also excited to be working on
stream hydrology and climate change in the Klamath River basin in northern California, where I grew up.
