1.  Briefly describe the biography that Arendt provides of Eichmann.  How does she describe
       his early years and his path to membership in the S.S.?

2.  What are the essential features of Eichmann's character that Arendt focuses on?  What comes
       through in her discussion about the kind of person he is?  How are these points developed?
       (I.e., what examples does she use to illustrate his character?)
