1. Explain briefly the story Socrates relates regarding the question Chairephon asked of the oracle
        at Delphi.

2.  Socrates describes the course of action he took to test the oracle's statement.  What did he do?
       How does he describe the results?

3.  In cross-examining Meletus, what reasoning does Socrates offer to refute Meletus' charges?

4.  Death and the threat of it comes up in various places in the dialogue.  How would you describe
       the attitude Socrates expresses toward death?  What reasons does he offer for this attitude?

5.  Socrates suggests repeatedly that a better person cannot be harmed by a worse one.  What could
       he possibly mean by this?  Is there any possible sense in which it might be true?
