Study Questions:  "Enough:  The Failure of the Living Will"

1.  Fagerlin and Schneider discuss several grounds for what they see as the complete failure
of the current system of advance directives (living wills).  What are these grounds?
Which of them do you think are the most challenging as objections to living wills?

2.  Choosing the one or two most challenging objections the authors raise, explain how
they defend the objection(s).  What problem are they settting out and how do they
       explain it?

3.  Consider how a defender of advance directive might respond to these criticisms.  Do you
see any way in which these objections might be overcome?
