Deleting Applications
Deleting How-To Guide, from pdaMD.com
Once you have tried a program and decided that it is not what you thought it was, delete it! It will continue to tie up your available memory.
Removing applications is fairly simple.
From the Application Launcher (home):
- Select the pull-down menu and select Delete (or /D).
- A list of applications that may be deleted will display, along with the size of the file.
- Select the application you want removed and choose the "Delete" box at the bottom of the screen.
- You will be asked if you really want to delete the application and all supporting data.
- If you select Yes, the application will be removed from the list.
You cannot delete the main applications. They are protected so you do not delete them accidentally.
To delete specific records in the main applications:
- Select the record to be removed.
- Select the "Details" box, usually located at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose the "Delete" box.
- You will usually be asked if you really want to delete the item and if you wish to save a copy an archive copy.
