• "Clandestine Political Economies and the Exercise of Public Authority in Philip II's Spain" (working title). Research in progress with support from fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities (2004-2005) and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation(2005-2006) for a short book.
• (with Ana Belén Barral Rojo, Mar”a Teresa Castejón Cay, and Miguel-Angel Bernabé Soriano) "Santuarios" (working title). Database, metadata, cartographic representations, and text dealing with the history and nature of surviving Roman Catholic shrines within the territory of the modern country of Spain (Ninth Century, C.E., to 1970). Project being revised for publication.
• "Familia y cargo político en el desarrollo de la oligarquía murciana, 1500-1650". Short book underway to revise and expand a 1981 publication.
• "From Hostility to Affinity: The Construction of Oligarchy in Golden Age Spain" (working title). In progress; completed rough first draft.
