Haydie Le Corbeiller

Haydie Le Corbeiller directs Content Area Tutoring and the Writing Center. She received a B.A. in history from Idaho State University in 1993 and then moved into I.S.U.'s English department, where she earned an M.A. in 1997 and is currently completing her doctorate. She has taught freshman composition and literature for the English Department as well as College Learning Strategies for the Center for Teaching and Learning.

After becoming half-time director of the CAT program in 2003, Haydie began teaching the Peer Tutor Training class for math and content-area tutors. Having tutored in the Writing Center from 1997-2003, Haydie also became its Associate Director during Fall 2004. She still occasionally tutors students in writing, European history, and Latin, and she facilitates a series of GRE preparation workshops each term.
