Dr. Kunicki assumes the responsibility for operations of the Developmental Math Program and the Math Center. This involves recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating tutors, developing the curriculum for and teaching Learning Strategies for Math and Developmental Math courses, meeting with students individually, and acting as a liaison between the Mathematics Department and the Center for Teaching and Learning.

Earning her D.A. in Mathematics in 1990 at ISU, Cathi's two interests, Mathematics and Education, are combined in her position as Math Center Director as she assists students in developing successful learning strategies in their Mathematics courses.  She focuses the Math programs in the CTL on individual counseling, workshops, and the College Learning Strategies for Mathematics course.  Her research specialty is in Matrix Theory with two journal articles: Normal-Preserving Linear Transformations, and Commutativity-Preserving and Normal-Preserving Linear Transformations on M2.
