Objectives on Rigid Motions
Be able to:
- State definitions of key terms.
- Given a figure and a rigid motion, find the image of the figure under the rigid motion.
- Given a figure and its image drawn on the page, find the objects
for the rigid motion that sends the figure to its image.
- Identify the combination of two rigid motions (without justification).
- Precisely describe all of the symmetries of a given figure
(without justification).
- Restate proofs or parts of proofs covered in class or on homework on rigid
motions.
- Provide proofs of results similar to those given in class or as homework problems or parts
of homework problems.
