On Friday, March 3, turn in a Chapter 4 Reading
Sheet with:
1. At least one question from Chapter 4 for the
review in class on Monday, March 13.
(e.g. Homework problems you missed / that were
not graded / that were not assigned or turned in, examples from the text,
questions you make up,...)
2. The one topic you are weakest in or understand
the least.
G indicates problems from the Graphing Utility Exercises.
It may be helpful to work similar odd-numbered problems when an even-numbered
problem is assigned.
Working additional problems (without the book, with a
time limit) is good preparation for exams.

Reading Sheets
Each Reading Sheet should consist of two things:
As a way to come up with questions, ask yourself what topic was most
confusing in the section. If you have absolutely no questions, describe
specifically the one topic that was hardest to understand. Reading
sheets will be graded 0, .5, or 1, based primarily on effort (there may
be many important ideas and many good questions). There
will be about 20 reading sheets during the semester and your point total
will be included in your homework average. These are intended to
encourage you to read the section before we discuss it in class
and to give you credit for doing so. This should help you stay caught
up and be better prepared, and should allow us to use class time more efficiently.
