McNABB YURT
Main Route to Yurt: McNabb Creek and adjoining ridges.
Difficulty:Advanced. This route is exposed and can become extremely difficult to find during periods of poor visibility.
Elevation Rise and Distance: 2400 feet climb over 4 miles.
Avalanche Hazard: Avalanche potential exists. Crossing steep slopes is dangerous. Avalanche transceivers, shovels, probes and knowledge os safe route finding in avalanche terrain is highly recommended for this tour.

Other Information: All members of the party should have climbing skins. The need for avalanche safety gear and knowledge of how to use it can not be stressed enough. A late start could find you camped out in a tree well instead of the yurt. Parking is free, but please do not block the private driveways.
