magnifying glass  How will I know if an article is peer-reviewed?

Unfortunately the magical words, "peer-reviewed" or "refereed" can appear anywhere. Begin by looking at the entire article very carefully. If you find no clues there, choose one of the other sources listed below.

A journal may be peer-reviewed but still publish editorials, opinion essays, etc. that are NOT peer-reviewed. Always check with your professor if you are unsure!
