Declaración de Nuestra
Misión
El objetivo de los Proyectos Hispanos de Salud, en el departamento
de Antropología de la Universidad del Estado de Idaho,
es el involucrar a miembros de la comunidad; profesionales académicos,
proveedores de servicios y creadores de proyectos de ley, en
un esfuerzo para mejorar las condiciones de salud y conscientizar
a los hispanos en el sureste de Idaho y México.
Por ser un programa no-lucrativo, los Proyectos Hispanos de
Salud proveen materiales educativos apropiados culturalmente,
y servicios de apoyo para esta comunidad hispana binacional.
Mission Statement
It is the objective of the Hispanic Health Projects (HHP) in
the Department of Anthropology at Idaho State University to
engage community members, academic professionals, service providers
and policy makers in efforts that increase health status and
health awareness for Hispanics in Southeast Idaho and Mexico.
As a non-profit program, the HHP provides culturally appropriate
educational materials
and advocacy services to this binational Hispanic community.
Funding Statement
This project is funded, in part, by grants at the Institute
of Rural Health at Idaho State University. This project is supported
