Admission to Online Sections
For 101, 301, & 302:
- First priority is given to students who live outside of Pocatello and Idaho Falls. There are a significant number of students who are unable to attend ISU due to long commuting distances - such as Salmon, Malad , Soda Springs or surrounding states. If you reside in the Pocatello or Idaho Falls areas, you must attend the "in-person" sections. Family and work obligations are important, but unfortunately cannot be a determining factor for admittance in an "Online" section. A waiting list for those students that don't meet the residence requirement will be formed – students will be notified by e-mail if a seat becomes available.
- Students cannot enroll in an in-person lecture section and an online lab section. Students must enroll in both the online lecture and online lab sections.
- Online students will be required to travel to Pocatello in order to attend two six-hour workshops for:
- Biol 101
