There are 3 options. You must get a minimum of the BioPortal.  The BioPortal is an online learning center with a full e-version of the text.

  2. Loose-leaf pages with 3-hole punch to put in a binder with the portal.  Life 8e (loose-leaf) w/Portal  ISBN 9781429208666  $75 Net (estimate)

  3. BioPortal Only (directly from http://courses.bfwpub.com/life8e.php) $85/18 months access (estimate) - an e-version of the texts is available in the portal that can be printed or downloaded to 2 computers.
