Office of Web Communications Home
The University requires a unified approach to web development that produces an organized and coherent tool. To that end, the University recognizes the Office of Web Communications as the department to implement this and other policies related to the University's web site. This office reports directly to the Vice President for University Advancement and the University President.
Responsibilities of the Office of Web Communications
- Ensure website interfaces, navigation menus, and pages download and work effectively for current Web devices
- Ensure web content is current and has link integrity
- Ensure web sites are designed around usability
- Provide well-designed web sites for Idaho State University
- Provide web content contributors and authors with development support and training
- Provide a web presence that complies with organizational standards and technical specifications
- Provide a web presence that supports current development and protocol standards from World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
