Responsibilities of the Director of Web Communications
- Work with colleges and departments to identify areas needing development
- Help departments establish maintenance agreements and design plans to provide support of departmental web sites
- Work with University administration to ensure institutional marketing needs are identified and goals are met
- Work with administrators, department heads, deans, senior office staff and others to facilitate the transition of appropriate ISU web services to Office of Web Communications
- Assure that confidence in and satisfaction with the Office of Web Communications is maintained
- Oversee and approve postings to University events calendar
- Respond to inquiries submitted to the Webmaster e-mail address

Responsibilities of the Web Services Coordinator
- Work closely with the Director to identify campuswide needs for overall improvement of the University web site
- Provide training and support to student web assistants in undertaking design and maintenance projects for departmental sites
- Assist in the coordination of web projects with similar projects managed by Information Technology Services
- Develop web applications and design proposals to respond to needs identified by the Director
- Assist departments and web liaisons in updating and redesigning their sites, in accordance with maintenance agreements established with departments
