This spring, ISU will open The Veterans’ Residence at Nichols Hall, the first veterans’ residence hall on a college campus in the nation. The hall will include about 35 residential rooms, a community kitchen, a laundry room and the Veterans’ Lounge, the meeting place for the Pocatello chapter of the Armed Forces Veterans’ Club. Residents receive free cable television and wireless Internet access as well as free on-site tutoring and academic advising. Single occupancy rooms are available for under $400 per month. A wide variety of affordable meal plans make your life even more convenient. The hall is part of ISU’s Living Learning Communities, which place students with common interests or experiences together in a residential setting.
