Using Quality Photographs and Graphics
University entities are required to use high-quality photographs, at least 300 dpi, for print materials. This ensures that the printer will be able to reproduce the image. Images taken from the Web are not sufficient quality (72 dpi) for print.
The graphic to the right shows a quality image next to a pixelated image.
The graphic to the lower-right shows how low-resolution art can begin to look blurred or mushy, compared to a quality vector-art graphic.
