The University Seal

The University seal is reserved for official use only. Examples of documents requiring the formal dignity of the university are diplomas, medallions, awards, and certain honorary certificates.

Use of University Name, Seal, Logo, and Service Mark

It is not permitted to use the University name, seal, logo, or service mark in conjunction with advertising, except that approval may be granted by the University president (or the president's designee) for institutional or goodwill advertising clearly regarded as being in the best interests of the University. The ISU name, logos, marks, and characters are owned and licensed by the University. All product sales by non-student groups utilizing the ISU name, logos, marks, and characters must be registered with the licensing company and approved by the Office of the University President or Department of Athletics. All student organizations that wish to display the ISU logos must receive prior approval from the Office of the University President or Department of Athletics.
