Sunday, August 26

Freshmen March Through the Arch & BBQ
5 p.m. • Quad
New freshmen are invited to begin their ISU experience with a welcome rally and the traditional March through Swanson Arch, led by ISU Marching Band, spirit teams, and student athletes. Then join ISU President Arthur C. Vailas and his wife Dr. Laura I. Vailas, various ISU officials, and the Alumni Association for a BBQ on the Quad.

Monday, August 27

Welcome-Back Breakfast
9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. • Quad
Students, faculty and staff are all invited to kickstart their year with a free breakfast provided by ASISU, the Student Activities Board (SAB), and the ISU Wellness Center. (Rain site: Canoe Room)
Party on the Quad
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. • Quad
Come enjoy free snow cones and cotton candy compliments of the Student Activities Board and ASISU. There will also be prizes, games, and a student involvement display.
Reading Project Informational Table
Noon • Quad
All incoming freshmen and returning students are encouraged to read Affluenza. Read about the pursuit for excessive consumption by Americans that has resulted in loneliness, more working hours, broken families, and other "symptoms."
BINGO!
6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. • Bengal Café
Join fellow students for a fun game of bingo and a chance to win prizes. Bingo cards are free of charge for students.
Reed Gym Night
7 p.m. - 10 p.m. • Reed Gym
Visit Reed Gym and participate in fun games, win prizes, and eat pizza. Come learn what's available for your recreational enjoyment at Idaho State University.
Fred Meyer Back to School Night
10 p.m. - 12 a.m. • Fred Meyer
Bring your Bengal ID to Fred Meyer and pick up discounted school supplies. Enter the raffle for your chance to win awesome prizes, grab some free food, and enjoy music with a live DJ.

Tuesday, August 28

Presidential Address & Ice Cream Social
Noon • Quad
Enjoy free ice cream and meet ISU President Dr. Arthur C. Vailas and ASISU President Jennifer Brown. The presidents are scheduled to speak at approximately 12:15 pm. (Rain site: Canoe Room)
Tailgate PARTY
6 p.m. - 7 p.m. • across from Reed Gym
Free t-shirts to the first 50 students at the tailgate party prior to the ISU Women's Volleyball Game. Come participate in games, with free food and drinks provided. Bring your school spirit and help support the Lady Bengals! The ISU Spirit Squad and Bengal Dancers will perform at the tailgate party.
ISU Women's Volleyball Game
7 p.m. • Reed Gym
Go Bengals! See the ISU Women's Volleyball Team take on Sacramento State at Reed Gym. The Student Activities Board (SAB) and ISU Athletics will give out prizes during the game. The ISU Spirit Squad will perform at halftime.
Cold Butts & Beer
8:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. • Bartz Field
Look for the tiki-torches on Bartz Field for ice blocking and a root beer-kegger. There will be iceblocking races and free T-shirts for the first 100 students! Sponsored by Chi-Alpha.

Wednesday, August 29

White Tent
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. • Quad
This event is designed to welcome students, faculty, and staff back to ISU and to create awareness of the facilities, amenities, organizations, and clubs on campus. Enjoy a free BBQ and a live concert (starting at 11:30 am). Tent sponsored by University Relations, BBQ sponsored by Student Unions & Involvement, and band sponsored by Student Activities Board (SAB).
Greek Games
7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. • Quad
It's time for fun with the ISU Greeks! Join the local fraternities and sororities for an evening of karaoke and other games, followed by the break-out hit comedy, Accepted, at dusk. Come see what fun the ISU Greeks have to offer!

Thursday, August 30

Rendezvous Welcome & Sketch Artist
10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. • Rendezvous Complex
Come to the new Rendezvous Atrium and visit the Food Court, Spirit Shop, the sketch artist, and Information Desk. Your choice of a Butt Sketch or Caricature by Bob Beason will be drawn. Participate in fun trivia, giveaways, prizes, and food specials.
Concert Teaser
Noon • Rendezvous Complex
Come preview the evening street concert during the Rendezvous Welcome.
Learn to Climb
5 p.m. • Lower Ross Park
Join the Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) for climbing at the cliffs of Ross Park. Instructions on climbing and equipment will be provided. Wear loose fitting clothes and bring water and snacks. Sign up in the OAC office in the basement of the Pond Student Union Building. The shuttle will leave the OAC at 5 p.m. For more information call 282-3912 or visit www.isu.edu/outdoor.
Street Party & Concert
6 p.m. • Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Start the school year off right with a huge party! Come listen to live music and grab dinner from one of the vendors at the Back to School Street Party, sponsored by the Student Activities Board (SAB). The street party will be located on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (the street that runs between the library and the Rendezvous Complex).
