About Us

The Union Program Council (UPC) was introduced to the campus community in the fall of 2010. The Council was conceived to help promote events and services within the Pond Student Union and to provide volunteers and projects for both the campus and community. Our goals are to create an additional dimension in student involvement through diverse events and community service opportunities, to partner with the ISU community and promote student success. During its subsequent years, the UPC has worked endlessly to create a series of traditional events for the Pond Student Union. Some trademark events include Late Night at the Union, Monday Night Football, the Tree Lighting Festival, Stress Busters, ITVS Community Cinema, etc.

Mission Statement

The Student Union Program Council (UPC) is a cohort of students who work collaboratively to plan the Student Unions' traditional campus events at Idaho State University. The UPC plans, creates and designs opportunities for students to be involved in campus and the community.
