Audio Visual Services
A wide range of audio/visual equipment is available through the Scheduling office for events in the student union. Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible and no later than five days prior to the event.
Our Technical Services Department has well trained student staff that are available to ensure the success of audio/visual and sound set-ups. In some instances, such as large events or multi-microphone panels, the Scheduling office may require audio/visual personnel, at an additional charge, to be available during your scheduled event.
We also provide sound reinforcement for non-academic campus events held at the University. Availability is limited by staffing and equipment. There will be a charge for any events that take place away from the student union. Charges will be based on the amount of equipment used and the length of time required from beginning of set up until take down is completed. Student Union staff must accompany equipment outside of the Student Union. Please contact the Scheduling office for rates and availability.
Additional equipment can be rented from outside vendors when the Student Union inventory is inadequate with the approval of the AV Technician. The sponsor group will be responsible for securing this equipment and the actual rental costs.
