Gift Opportunities- Outdoor Adventure Center
The mission of the Idaho State University Outdoor Adventure Center is to provide outdoor recreational opportunities that empower individuals to move beyond self-imposed limitations through educational and common adventure based trips.
Outdoor Education Scholarships: A gift of $2,000 will provide a scholarship for a student who is enrolled in the Outdoor Education Emphasis at Idaho State University.
Equipment Replacement: A gift of $200 will help replace equipment for open climbing. Open climbing is held at Ross Park weekly from the first of April to the end of October.
A gift of $200 will help replace equipment for the Outdoor Adventure Center nationally renowned whitewater kayaking and/or kayak touring program.
Map Software and Printing Capabilities: A gift of $4,500.00 will purchase equipment and software to print maps. Participants could print the areas and size of map they would need. Map Software $500.00 Color Printer that prints on 12x18 paper $3,000.00. Computer to run program $1,000.00
Vehicle Replacement: A gift of $30,000.00 will purchase a new 12 passenger van that will be used for trips, classes and workshop s offered by the Outdoor Adventure Center.
