Student Support Services
Student Support Services is a federally funded post-secondary education program designed to provide academic assistance and support to students who are disadvantaged. Federal guidelines require students to be from low-income families, first-generation college students, or have a documented disability. Students must also manifest academic need for our program. This program is offered free of charge to participants.
Student Support Services at Idaho State University provides students with a variety of support services including:
- Advising/scheduling assistance
- Counseling (academic, personal, financial, and career)
- Orientation to campus
- Tutoring/Supplemental instruction
- Advocacy
- Mentoring
