Middle School Tutor/Mentors:
- The Educational Talent Search Program hires tutor/mentors every semester to work with students in the area middle schools. They will work with students in a study hall situation.
- You must be able to tutor middle school subjects including math, science, history, English, etc.
- You must be able to interact well with middle school students.
- A background check will be performed prior to hiring.
- These positions start at $7/hour.

High School Tutor/Mentors:
- The Educational Talent Search Program hires tutor/mentors every semester to work with students at three high schools in Pocatello. They will work with students in a study hall situation.
- You must be able to tutor high school subjects including math, science, history, English, etc.
- You must be able to interact well with high school age students.
- You must have your own transportation to and from the high schools.
- A background check will be performed prior to hiring.
- These positions start at $7/hour.
- Hours are required from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

College Tutors
- The Student Support Services Program hires college tutors every semester for the following subjects: Math (108 and up), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Zoology, Spanish.
- You must show proficiency in the subject you wish to tutor and provide a letter of recommendation from a professor/department chair in that subject.
- These positions start at $7/hour with a flexible schedule.

College Mentors
- The Student Support Services Program hires mentors every semester to work with new freshmen students at ISU.
- You must be a junior or senior at ISU.
- You must be in good academic standing at ISU.
- You must be responsible and reliable.
- You must be able to interact well with many different personality types.
- A mentor fosters caring and supportive relationships, encouraging people to develop to their fullest potential.
- A mentor helps those they are interacting with to identify their own objectives and visions for their academic future, and assists them with the support they need to reach their goals.
- These positions start at $7/hour with a flexible schedule.
