Service-Learning In Action
First Year Seminar (FYS), Spring 2010
- 7 sections of FYS participated incorporated service-learning into their curriculum
- 108 FYS students participated in service
- 299 hours of service were performed (each student performed an average of ~3 hours of service)
- Several community partners were assisted through the efforts of FYS students:
- Adventure Center
- CASA
- Edahow Elementary School
- Humane Society
- Indian Hills Elementary School
- ISU ELC
- Pocatello Animal Shelter
- Snake River Animal Shelter
- Tendoy Elementary School

- ISU (Homecoming, Bootacular Carnival)
