Content Area Tutoring
The Content Area Tutoring (CAT) program makes free small group tutoring available at both ISU's Pocatello and Idaho Falls campuses. Tutoring is available through the CAT program in all academic areas except writing and math, which are handled through the Writing Center and Math Center respectively. Students may request a tutor for their fall classes up until 5 p.m. on November 20, 2010.
To request a tutor:
- Read and agree to abide by the CAT program Student Policies.
- Complete a Student Request for Tutoring form and return to the CAT offices in Pocatello (REND 323 ) or Idaho Falls (CHE 220).
After the CAT office receives your Student Request for Tutoring form, we will send you an email assigning you a tutor as quickly as we can. In many cases a tutor can be recruited and assigned within a week. If no tutor is available whose schedule is compatible with yours, we'll make every effort to find one and we'll send you an email telling you that a search is underway.
