Mumps Vaccine

Mumps, Measles, and Rubella Vaccine (MMR)
Vaccination for all three diseases is routinely received twice—at about 1 year of age and at 5 years of age. The vaccine is highly effective in preventing these serious diseases. Due to lack of full immunization, these diseases do still occur. Some individuals, usually by personal choice of their parents, did not receive one or both doses of vaccine.
If a college student has not already received 2 doses of vaccine, MMR vaccination is recommended.
