Congratulations to Sean Sherrard who was awarded the National Association of Sport and Physical Education (an association of AAHPERD) Major of the Year. He was selected as the ISU Sport Science and Physical Education Department's NASPE Major of the Year for the Outdoor Education emphasis. He was chosen for this honor based on his history of strong scholarship, service to the department and community, and professional promise. Sean will be nationally recognized at this year's annual AAHPERD conference to be held in Boston, MA March 13th-17th.


Veteran's Sanctuary

Mr. Philip A. Clifton Sr. is going to be on Campus at the Veteran's Sanctuary every other Wednesday afternoon beginning Feb 1st. Times will be from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.

Renovate Pulling Courts or University Courts Apartments. Purchase materials and supplies for renovation for the entire complex. This project benefits the residents, campus, and community who use this facility.

Renovation of Turner Hall or South Complex

A gift of $1,000,000 will...
Significantly assist us in renovating Turner Hall or South Complex. Estimates to complete the project are around $5 million per project. This would bring these two facilities up to date for the residents and campus. This project benefits the residents, campus, and community who use this facility. This would also benefit recruitment of potential students and building a place on campus to create a more vibrant campus life.

Creation of new academic facility at Schubert Heights

Assist to enclose the hypostyle at Schubert Heights to create a common lounge, study area, computer lab, and a refreshment area. This would enhance the quality of community space on the “ridge” for Schubert, McIntosh, and Ridge Crest. This would also put another opportunity to showcase a new addition to help recruit graduate students to ISU.
