Support The Stephens Performing Arts Center
Idaho State University's $34 million L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center was built primarily with funds from hundreds of private donors, both large and small. Thus, the center that today crowns Bartz Hill in Pocatello is more than a testament to ISU's commitment to music, theatre and dance. The Stephens Center and its named venues reflect the commitment of Idahoans and others to bringing world-class performers to a world-class facility, right here in southeastern Idaho.
Although major construction was completed in 2004, work continues on the final stages. Costs still need to be met. Maintaining and operating the 123,000-square-foot complex so that generations of Idahoans can enjoy it also requires substantial financial support. Financing to help attract top performers from around the world, to promote their appearances and to keep performances accessible to all will be ongoing challenges. So, while major construction is complete, the need for financial support continues.
Meeting those ongoing costs will require sustained support of individuals like yourself, individuals who care about the cultural life of ISU and southeastern Idaho.
The Idaho State University Foundation provides a variety of convenient ways to become a permanent part of this prestigious legacy.
One opportunity is a gift to an endowment that will help ISU continue bringing top performers to the center. Another is purchasing a named seat in the Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall, the Beverly B. Bistline Theatre and the James E. and Beverly Rogers Theatre. There are other ways you can contribute as well.
