We, the members of the Snowboarding Club and Team of Idaho State University, do hereby constitute ourselves an organization subject to the following provisions.
Article I
Name
This organization shall be known as the Idaho State University Snowboarding Club and Team. Our production title is "ISU Snowboarding".
Article II
Purpose
Section I
To discuss, adopt, and carry out procedures necessary for the general welfare of snowboarding sport and members of the club. To instill the principles of brotherhood/sisterhood among the snowboarding community in general. To organize with the Associated Students of Idaho State University, other area winter sports, and the United States Snowboard Association.
Section II
To promote the sport’s up and coming riders by providing coaching and other services to our members and affiliated members.
Section III
To serve as a vehicle of communication among snowboarders, the university, and surrounding community. To serve as the vehicle to enable all snowboarders on campus to act together for the good of the club, team, Idaho State University, and surrounding community.
Section IV
To serve in a public relations capacity and to further snowboarding within the college and surrounding communities.
Article III
Membership
Section I Club Members
Membership in the ISU Snowboarding Club is open to any registered student and employed faculty/staff person of Idaho State University with an interest to snowboard. This organization will not deny membership to any person on the basis of race, age, religion, sex, physical/mental handicap, color, marital status, national origin, language or creed.
Section II Affiliated Members
Any person with an interest to snowboard, and has paid dues.

Section III Attendance
Thirty percent (30%) of the voting members constitutes a quorum. Fifty one percent (51%) of a quorum is necessary to as any issue.
Article V
Administration
Section I Executive Officer Requirements
Only full time, officially registered students who are voting members of the ISU Snowboarding Club, carrying a minimum of eight credits and holding a 2.0 GPA shall be eligible to serve as elected or appointed officers.

Section IV Officer Attendance
Executive officers are required to attend all regularly scheduled meetings. If an officer misses two meetings, a worning will be issued; if a third meeting is missed, the individual will be subject to removal as determined by a 2/3 majo rity vote of the executive board, and voting membership.

Section I
The Treasure will be responsible for the collection/distribution of funds. Major expenditures ($100 or more) will be authorized by a 2/3 vote of the membership. Minor expenditures will be autherized by the president. All expenditures shall require the signature of one executive officer.
Article VII
Advisor
Section I
The advisor shall be a full-time member of the faculty or a full-time professional employee of ISU. Advisors are responsible for the overseeing any activities of the ISU Snowboarding Club. An Advisor can be recommended for removal by the o fficers for any reason deemed appropriate.
Article VIII
Examination Clause
Financial records of the Idaho State University Snowboarding Club are subject to an examination at any time by the ASISU business manager and the advisor.
Article IX
Amendments
Any primary member of the Idaho State University Snowboarding Club may sponsor any amendment. The amendment must be Approved by a 2/3 majority vote of the members present. The proposed amendment is not ratified until approved by the ASISU.
