The Idaho State University chapter of Psi Chi was charted on October 27th, 1989. Our local chapter is committed to providing a useful service to the local academic community, and the community of South-Eastern Idaho through education and action.
Our members are actively involved with psychology today. We provide opportunities for members and students of psychology to engage with current topics and/or controversies in psychology and to think critically about them by inviting experts in different areas to psychology to speak to us. In addition, through our efforts to host talks and panels, members have the opportunity to engage with professors, graduate students, and professionals in the field of psychology. Lastly, we provide service to the community by organizing open discussions on topics in psychology and by sharing information about psychology in many different forums across campus.
