Bent Monument
Planning
Planning for the monument installation is the effort of the College of Engineering, and particularly Linda Stuffle who's effort is the reason we even have a TBP chapter. Through their work, a convenient location was secured in the vicinity of the Lillibridge Engineering Laboratory.
Installation
The monument's base was installed during the summer of 2005 by ISU's Physical Plant. The monument is a railroad "bent," which is part of a trestle, and TBP's logo. It is made of brass and stands 40 inches high. The monument was cast for the Idaho Beta Chapter, and finished by the ISU art department. The monument was funded through the generous donations from members of the community.
