Club Business
Congratulations to New Members
We are honored to have initiated James Cleaver, Anisa Como, Josh Daw and Odin Townsend last weekend. Welcome to our organization.
Fundamentals of Engineering books available on reserve at the library
Please remind fellow students who you know are taking the FE that we have review materials available at the library for the general section as well as discipline specific (CE, ME, and EE).
Pizza
Our club has earned a Papa John's pizza gift card for $30.00 for sumbiting all the reports accurately and on time this last semester. We will have pizza at noon during Closed Week at a place and date to be decided.
Supplemental Funding Request
We have submited a request to receive funding for next year to send at least another member to National Convention next year in Denver, Colorado, as well as to cover expenses for NSPE Engineer Week competition, Initiation Banquet and souvenirs for District 12 attendees.
Volunteering at Franklin
Please make time to volunteer at least every other week. We encourage our new members to participate.
Improving visibility of Tau Beta Pi
We discussed the issue of improving the visibility of Tau Beta Pi at ISU and specially the College of Engineering. It was proposed to perhaps adopt a place on LEL and keep it orderly such as the study lobby or a computer lab. We will think about the process and decide on our next meeting.
Next meeting
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, April 20 in the materials/soils lab at 7:30am. NOTE:We will be holding elections, so please think about nominations and review the President's Handbook outlining the Duties and Responsibilities of each position.
