Professional Areas of Interests: My research interests involve investigating how well normal-hearing and hearing-impaired listeners are able to use visual speech information (lipreading) when communicating. I have developed and applied measures of capacity to assess audiovisual recognition ability in speech perception, and more recently, used EEG to obtain neural measures of integration.
