Profile

Mr. Banyas has taught instrumental music in Idaho public schools since 1978, and has served as principal trumpet for the Idaho State Civic Symphony for more than 20 years. He has also performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Erie Philharmonic Orchestra, Akron Symphony Orchestra, Idaho Falls Symphony, and Sun Valley Summer Symphony. He has been a member of faculty brass quintets at Allegheny College (PA), University of Akron (OH), University of Arkansas Summer Music Festival, and Idaho State University.
