Open Scholarships List
This is a list of scholarship opportunities (primarily for current/continuing students at ISU) that are currently open for application. Here you'll find brief descriptions of each scholarship opportunity with links to downloadable PDF files (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print) containing detailed announcements and application forms. As soon as we find out about an opportunity, we will post it here. The bulk of our scholarships for current/continuing students come available in the Spring months for awarding in the next academic year, however you will see some open up at other times during the year. We encourage you to check this list often.

Miscellaneous or Multiple Majors
- AES Engineering Solutions Scholarship
- 2013/14 Academic Year, Any Major (Engineering courses not required), Class Level: high school
seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational facility, Must be Full-time,
1000 word essay (topic listed on website).

- Academic Year 2013/2014; Any undergraduate major; MUST be within 4 semesters of graduating & have returned
to ISU to complete your degree after a 2 year consecutive break in college (re-entering college); may be part-time
or full-time; a minimum of 2.50 cumulative GPA; must be an Idaho resident and U.S. citizen; financial need is required.
Must provide an “advisor” approved degree plan that shows you will complete your degree (graduate) by the end of
spring semester 2015.

Applications available at: https://secure.mytechsupport.com/~ais/students_application.html - Army ROTC Scholarship Program - Always Open - Scholarship benefits awarded up to annual amounts equal to tuition and allowable fees,
plus allowances for books and living expenses. There is an obligation to accept a commission in the US Army, National Guard, or US Army Reserve if awarded
this scholarship.

Ann Hunter Scholarship
- Spring 2014; award amount $3,172 for in-state undergraduate students OR partial out-of-state undergraduate tuition
for out-of-state students; Any major; Junior or Senior class level; 58 credits completed (30 from ISU); minimum GPA
of 3.25; typed essay must be e-mailed and a copy must accompany application (see announcement/application for further
details). Membership in Phi Kappa Phi not required to apply. Award recipient will be expected to attend annual
initiation ceremony.

or a letter from a commanding officer or ROTC instructor.

- Spring 2014 award; award amount $100; Any major and class level, minimum GPA of 2.5; 1st Preference given to students
who have served an active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps or Marine Corps Reserve and received an honorable discharge or
be the spouse or child of a U.S. Marine or Marine Reservist (must submit documentation for verification). 2nd Preference
given to any Military Veteran from any of the U.S. Military Services who have served and received an honorable discharge
(must submit documentation for verification). Must be a U.S. citizen.

- Spring 2014; Any major within the College of Arts and Letters; a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA, plus a minimum 3.0 GPA
from the 2013 Spring semester; applicants must be full-time College of Arts & Letters majors at ISU during the semester
of application and during the award period. Applications are also available in the Dean’s Office of the College of
