The Executive Director for Research Integrity directs the Research Compliance Program of the University, which includes Responsible Conduct of Research, and all Federal and State Research Regulatory Compliance. The Director shall provide administration/management oversight for the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Bio-safety Committee (IBC), and shall ensure Institute compliance with U.S. Federal and Idaho State regulations governing human subject research, animal research, and technical/biosafety/security research.

Office for Research Development |
Dave B. Harris Directs and provides leadership for all administrative and support operations associated with the Office for Research Development. Coordinates and monitors submission of all proposals from ISU to external funding agencies. Coordinates and monitors Electronic Research Administration at ISU. Assists ISU faculty and staff with proposal development, including strategic planning, interpretation of guidelines, proposal development support and budget development. Works with Contract Director on award review, negotiation and acceptance.

Monica Smith Huyg Drafts, negotiates, and reviews contracts and subcontracts between ISU and external entities in which funds are being transferred to ISU in exchange for work performed. |
Kati Chipps Assists ISU faculty and staff in the development of proposals and budgets. Reviews and approves proposals prior to submission to funding agencies. Disseminates funding information and writes monthly “UPDATE” newsletter. |
