      Deb is the Executive Director for Research Integrity. She directs the Research Compliance Program of the University, which includes Responsible Conduct of Research, and all federal and state research regulatory compliance. She provides administration/management oversight for the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Institutional Bio-safety Committee (IBC), and ensures Institute compliance with U.S. Federal and Idaho State regulations governing human subject research, animal research, and technical/biosafety/security research.

    • Dave directs and provides leadership for all administrative and support operations associated with Research Development, coordinates and monitors submission of all proposals from ISU to external funding agencies,  coordinates and monitors Electronic Research Administration at ISU. He also assists ISU faculty and staff with proposal development, strategic planning, interpretation of guidelines, proposal development support and budget development. He works with the Contract Director on award review, negotiation and acceptance.
